1 Injured in Durham Accident
One person was taken to the hospital Tuesday after an accident near the intersection of Highway 15-501 and Interstate 40.

DURHAM, N.C. — Traffic is flowing again on westbound Interstate 40 after a single-car accident in Durham.
The accident occurred Tuesday morning on I-40 near Highway 15-501.
Authorities said the driver was taken to the hospital. There is no word on the extent of that person's injuries.
All three lanes of the roadway were closed briefly while crews worked to remove the wreckage, forcing traffic to use the shoulder.
