Fayetteville Counselor Accused of Sexual Crimes

Posted Updated

FAYETTEVILLE — Fayetteville police arrested a school counselor who allegedly committed sexual crimes against two students.

29-year-old Naiem Abdullah Ali is charged with taking indecent liberties with a 15-year-old.

Ali is also accused of exposing himself and sexually assaulting an 18-year-old. The crimes allegedly happened months ago at the Massey Hill Alternative School in Fayetteville.

The victims kept quiet until now to tell their stories.

"The reason they just came forward is one of their friends just told them they needed to report this individual," Fayetteville Police Sergeant David Houp said. "Other than that he would continue to do these things."

Ali was taken into custody, but later released on bond.
