River Flood Warning Issued for Waccamaw

CONWAY — The National Weather Service's Wilmington office has issued a river flood warning for the Waccamaw River at Conway.

The Waccamaw river level stood at 7.04 feet Sunday morning. This puts it above the 7 foot flood stage level, resulting in a river flood

Levels will fluctuate at or below 7-foot readings for the next few days.

Effects from this flooding will occur mainly across swampland and natural boat landings.
