The UNC Tarheels quashed a Connecticut rally in the second half to win the East Regional Final.
Coach Bill Guthridge told CBS sports that the Carolina team got through the season without a deep bench because of the quality of the players.
Guthridge also said that this final four game resembled several in the past; however, it lacked the presence of Dean Smith.
Next Saturday's game marks Carolina's 14th Final Four appearance and fifth in this 1990's.
Shammond Williams said that the team's success is due to the hard work and dedication throughout the year.
Vince Carter discussed the Carolina's unselfish play, and how the team avoided Conneticut's tough presses in today's game.
Carolina is the first number one seed to make the Final Four this year.
