Court Appearance Delayed For Baby Sitter Charged In Scalding Death

Posted Updated

ORANGE COUNTY, N.C. — The court appearance for a baby sitter charged in the death of a 2-year-old girl has been delayed until next year.

A judge will consider bond for Jamie Wilson. Police say Wilson put Briana Faucette in scalding, hot water at a home in Orange County and waited hours before calling 911.

Faucette later died from her injuries. Currently, Wilson is at the Orange County Jail without bond.

Wilson was supposed to appear in court Friday, but her court date has been pushed back until Jan. 5, 2006.
