Search On For Girl Who Went Missing During Hillsborough Parade

The Orange County Sheriff's office said Samantha Merritt, 7, was riding on a float in the Hillsborough Christmas parade.

She was on the float at the beginning of the parade but when the parade finished, she was not on the float, authorities said.

Police think she hopped off and is probably walking in the crowd, but they are looking for her.

Authorities described her as a white female with dark, curly hair and she is wearing a dark blue sweatshirt and jeans.
