DURHAM, N.C. — Police have identified a man who was struck by an Amtrak train in Durham on Thursday night.
Investigators said 49-year-old Larry Dunn was walking on the tracks near the American Tobacco Campus at Pettigew and Blackwell streets at about 6:50 p.m. Thursday when a train hit and killed him.
No one on the train was injured, police said.
