Sanford Man Dies After Fall at S.C. Motel

A Sanford man died Monday after falling from the second floor of a South Carolina hotel.

Witneses told police that they heard yelling and bumping sounds at the Voyager Motel on Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach.

The motel manager told police when he went to investigate the sounds, a man standing outside the room told him Thomas Lee, 38, was suffering from seizures. Shortly afterwards, Lee's body was found on the ground.

The actual cause of death may not be known for several weeks as authorities wait for the results of tests taken during the autopsy.
