DURHAM, N.C. — Police said an 18-year-old male was fatally shot as he attempted an armed robbery at a private club in Durham early Saturday morning.
Police said Michael Henderson shot and killed Brandon Brown as Brown attempted to rob Henderson at about 1 a.m. Saturday at a club at
1505 Holloway Street
.
Billy Wayne Morris, 40, was grazed by a bullet and suffered a wound to his leg during the shooting, police said.
About 15 people were at the club at the time, and police said the incident may be gang-related, though the incident remains under investigation.
Police have not said if anyone would be charged in the shooting.
