First Group Inducted Into Raleigh Hall Of Fame

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh inducted its first group into the

city's Hall of Fame

on Thursday night.

The inductees included Ralph Campbell Sr. and his wife June for their leadership during the Civil Rights Movement; A.J. Fletcher, founder of the Capitol Broadcasting Company; and Willie York, the developer of Cameron Village.

These individuals, as well as eight others and the Women's Club of Raleigh, were inducted into the Hall of Fame during a ceremony at the Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts.
