Fire Damages Building Used By N.C. State's School Of Agriculture

RALEIGH, N.C. — Authorities responded to an overnight fire at a building used by North Carolina State University.

The fire happened on Lake Wheeler Road near the intersection of Tryon Road. The fire started in a truck parked inside the building.

N.C. State uses the two-story building for its School of Agriculture. It contained a classroom, agricultural equipment and animal bi-products.

There was heavy smoke damage to the building, but officials said no one was hurt.

No foul play is suspected in the fire. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
