WILSON, N.C. — Wilson authorities are searching for two people who kidnapped a woman from her home at gunpoint Friday morning, Wilson police said.

At about 8:04 a.m., Wilson 911 received a call about an armed kidnapping and robbery off of Marsh Swamp Road.

Deputies said the victim, an assistant manager of the Kangaroo store on the corner of Ward Boulevard and Brentwood Drive, was forced from her residence and taken to the store where she was forced to take an undisclosed amount of money from the store's safe.

The victim told police that she was then taken back to her home. She said the kidnappers dropped her off and left.
