Fire officials said the fire was well contained between Riley, Raeford and Cliffdale Roads. No one was injured and no structures were damaged in the fire.<br />

Nearly two dozen firefighters responded to the scene Saturday afternoon. The crews were expected to get help from the North Carolina Forestry Service to ensure the fire wouldn’t spread.
