WILSON, N.C. — A man faces charges for a car accident that killed his brother Saturday night, the N.C. Highway Patrol said.
The accident happened at around 8 p.m. Saturday on Landfill Road, about three miles east of Wilson.
Troopers said 24-year-old Daniel Sanchez-Sierra was driving too fast when he lost control of his car. Sanchez-Sierra's vehicle crossed the centerline and hit a light pole.
Sanchez-Sierra was not hurt, but his 37-year-old brother, Marcello, was killed in the accident.
Troopers did not say what charges Daniel Sanchez-Sierra faces.
