Durham Police Arrest 18-Year-Old For Connection In Deadly Shooting

DURHAM, N.C. — The Durham Police Department has arrested an 18-year-old male for his connection in a deadly shooting and a stabbing last weekend.

Police arrested Reben Gonzalez Perez for his involvement in the shooting death of Carlos Ramirez Perez at an apartment complex in Durham.

Investigators also believe Reben Gonzalez Perez was involved in the stabbing of a 19-year-old male near the Caroco convenience store at the corner of Alston Avenue and Hopkins Street.

Perez was arrested without incident.

Police have not said what charges he may face.
