DURHAM, N.C. — There are more legal problems for a man accused of scamming thousands of dollars from a bride-to-be.
Durham police charged Beverly Perry with two additional fraud-related charges.
Investigators say customers paid Perry $150 to take a bus trip to Virginia. He cancelled and did not fully refund two people.
Perry is also accused of taking $2,500 from a bridal party as a deposit on a trip.
