ROANOKE RAPIDS, N.C. — A 16-year-old has pleaded guilty to running over a 3-year-old girl with an all-terrain vehicle.
Eric Lassiter was sentenced to more than a year of supervised probation and 72 yours of community service.
Lassiter ran over Michaela Williams while she was on the playground of a Roanoke Rapids housing project.
Michaela is undergoing therapy for her injuries from the January accident.
