DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police arrested a teenager Sunday morning for sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl.
Mauricio Gonzalez Xochimilco, 17, has been charged with kidnapping, sexual assault and assault on a child under age 12.
Investigators said Xochimilco was an acquaintance of the girl, and the alleged assault occurred during a party on Roxboro Road in Durham.
The suspect was still at the scene where the alleged incident occurred when he was arrested, police said.
