Autopsy results made public on Tuesday confirmed that a Johnston County man who was found dead Friday morning committed suicide.<br />

A neighbor found Joseph Mark McCann, 45, lying on the floor of his home near the Johnston-Wake county line on Turnipseed Road.<br />

Investigators initially labeled the incident a suspicious death. They now say he had plunged a butcher knife into his chest.<br />
