ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. — Two people were killed in an auto accident Monday on Interstate 95 near mile marker 131.
The North Carolina Highway Patrol said the truck lost control around 3:10 p.m., ran off the road and flipped.
Emanuel Guerrero Benitez, 19, from Clearwater, Fla., was ejected and killed. Authorities said the passenger, whose name has not yet been released, was also killed. The road was never closed at any point.
