Posted Updated

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Chapel Hill police will be out in force, no matter the outcome of UNC's showdown with Michigan State on Saturday.

To prepare for Saturday's expected celebration, authorities will shut down parts of Franklin and Columbia streets. Police will tow any cars parked in the closed areas after 5 p.m.

Police are also asking bars and restaurants to serve alcohol in paper or plastic cups.

Fans are not allowed to bring alcohol, glass bottles, fireworks or blue paint into the area.
