The Wake County Sheriff's Office charged Joseph Edward Bostic III with identity fraud in an investigation that revealed Bostic obtained a Nextel account, a credit card account, a Time-Warner account, and a Sprint account in his son's name, police said.
Bostic, 38, of 6123 Poole Road, was charged with counts of identity fraud
Last Thursday, Jan. 6, Wake County Sheriff's Office Drug and Vice investigators arrested Bostic for alleged possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine and for allegedly selling and delivering cocaine. At that time they also served warrants that Cary Police Department held on Bostic for alleged financial identity fraud.
The North Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles and the Cary Police Department assisted the Wake County Sheriff's Office with its investigation on the identity fraud charges.
