Northgate Mall To Get New Anchor Tenant

in Durham is about to get some company.

Northgate Associates announced Marquee Cinemas, Inc. as the new tenant that will occupy the second level of the current Belk Department Store space.

The new 10-screen multiplex at 52,000 square feet will feature stadium seating, state-of-the-art Dolby Digital sound, high-back rocking chair seats and wall-to-wall screens.

Next week, Marquee Cinemas is scheduled to open at Wakefield as well as opening a new complex in Apex simultaneously with the Northgate opening in late fall 2005.
