DUNN, N.C. — There are clues, but no leads in a hit-and-run crash that killed a 34-year-old man.
Robert Register was riding his bike along Highway 301 Friday night when he was hit.
Neighbors heard a noise, but they did not see his body until Saturday morning.
Troopers found pieces from a car headlight. They plan to run a checkpoint on Friday with the hope that somebody will have more information.
