LEE COUNTY, N.C. — Two Lee County High School students are charged with vandalizing 12 school buses.
Police say 17-year-old Dylan Pate and 18-year-old Michel Stewart slashed 21 tires. Officials said the teens caused $3,900 worth in damage.
Investigators said the teens hoped the prank would cancel classes.
The buses were delayed about 30 minutes while the tires were changed.
