RALEIGH, N.C. — A mobile home dealer accused of cheating dozens of customers must pay back customers and the state.
Attorney General Roy Cooper said Creative Real Estate tricked people into payments they could not keep up with.
The company must pay the state $75,000 and a more substantial amount to about 65 customers.
The terms of that private settlement are private.
