HARNETT COUNTY, N.C. — Harnett County investigators are investigating a possible murder near the town of Coats.
Deputies say a driver spotted the body of 26-year-old Nasario Perez Ramirez on the side of Ebenezer Church Road Friday morning. They say it appears he was stabbed several times.
Investigators blocked off a mile-stretch of the road. They are searching the woods and a nearby pond for possible evidence.
The victim has not been identified. They do not know whether the person died at the scene or whether his body was dumped there.
