CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Chapel Hill police have issued an arrest warrant for a man wanted on charges of sexual assault.
The victim, authorities said, was walking along Hillsborough Street Tuesday when a man walking in the opposite direction groped her and continued walking, police said.
The victim was able to identify the man as Daniel Anthony Berarducci, 26, of Mebane. He faces charges of assault on a female and sexual battery.
His whereabouts were unknown Friday. Anyone with information on where he is should contact the Chapel Hill Police Department at 919-968-2760.
