DURHAM, N.C. — Duke University honored Capitol Broadcasting president and CEO Jim Goodmon Tuesday afternoon.
Goodmon is the recipient of the 2004 Futrell Award for Excellence in the Field of Communication and Journalism.
The award is given each year to a Duke alumnus who made contributions in the field of communications.
Capitol Broadcasting is the parent company of WRAL-TV.
