CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Chapel Hill and University of North Carolina police are looking for a man who they say attacked a woman on the campus earlier this week.

Police handed out fliers Wednesday asking students to be on the alert and to be careful.

The attack happened Tuesday afternoon on a walking trail near the Forest Theater at the edge of the UNC campus.

The woman escaped with bruises.

Police described the assailant as a white male in his early- to mid-20s, at least 6 feet tall, with a pale complexion and short, dark hair. He was wearing gold-rimmed sunglasses.
