CARY, N.C. — A Cary man thought he had served his time with the Army, but now the government wants him back at work in nine days.
Todd Parrish sayd he gave the Army notice two years ago, but the Army says he did not formally resign when his time was up late last year.
"How many people resign twice? Do I need to go back to every company I ever worked for and tell them, 'By the way, I don't work here anymore," Parrish said.
Parrish sued the Army, asking a judge to stop his activation. This week, the judge denied his request, saying Parrish brought all of this up only after getting called to active duty.
