Police are investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred early Sunday morning outside a Fayetteville nightclub.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Police have arrested a Fayetteville man in connection with an early morning stabbing outside a Fayetteville nightclub.

The incident occurred shortly before 2 a.m. at the Palomino/South Beach Club located at 2869 Owen Drive.

The victim, Aljiandro Martinez, 19, of Fayetteville, died at the scene.

Jacob Nolasco, 24, is charged with simple assault and is being held in the Cumberland County Jail under a $50,000 secured bond. More charges are expected.
