Durham Police Trying To Locate Missing Woman

DURHAM, N.C. — Police investigators are trying to find 39-year-old Tonya Hutchins, who has been missing since July 22 and may be in danger.

Hutchins, who also uses the name Tonya Renuart, was reported missing to the Butner Public Safety Department. She last was seen July 22 in a silver 1996 Honda Civic in the area of Hyde Park Avenue in Durham.

The car was found abandoned July 23 in Hillsborough.

Hutchins, whose last known address was on Reunion Park Drive in Apex, is described as a white female, 5 feet 5 inches tall and 130 pounds. She has blond hair, green eyes and two tattoos on her left shoulder.
