FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police have released surveillance video of two men robbing a fast-food restaurant who they think might be responsible for as many as five other robberies in the area within the past month.

In each case, the robbers walk into the restaurant not wearing masks but put them on in the bathroom. They come out of the bathroom armed with guns, rob the business and then flee in a dark-colored sedan driven by a third person.

Each suspect is described as being about 5 feet 7 inches tall to 5 feet 10 inches tall with a slim build. One has a gold tooth.

Police say that no one has been hurt in the robberies but that they are concerned that it's just a matter of time before the pair strikes again.

The most recent robbery happened on June 1 at a Hardee's on Reilly Road in Fayetteville.

Robberies also occurred May 18 at a Hardee's in Clinton, a Burger King on Cedar Creek Road in Fayetteville and a Hardee's on Ramsey Street in Fayetteville. A Hardee's in Sanford was robbed on May 20, and a KFC in Aberdeen was robbed May 22.

Anyone with information about the robberies is asked to call detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department at 910-433-1856 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-TIPS (8477).
