RALEIGH, N.C. — The prayers have been answered for a local high school.

Students at Word of God Christian Academy in Raleigh can once again use their core courses and graduation standards in the initial NCAA eligibility certification process.

In July, the school was one of 16 across the nation not cleared for NCAA academic eligibility for students who plan to play for college sports teams.

The NCAA puts schools on the list if they do not submit requested information or if records do not meet standards.
