Prosecutors To Seek Death Penalty Against UNCW Murder Suspect

WILMINGTON, N.C. — A man accused of killing a University of North Carolina at Wilmington student could die for his crimes.

Prosecutors announced Monday they will seek the death penalty against Curtis Dixon. He is charged with murdering Jessica Faulkner of Cary.

In May, Faulkner's body was found in Dixon's dorm room. Police say he strangled her.
