Committee Formed To Study School's Food-Charging Policy

Posted Updated

PRINCETON, N.C. — Leaders at a Johnston County school are trying to prevent another lunchroom debacle.

Last week, students who owed money to the Princeton School cafeteria had their hot lunches taken away and thrown in the trash. The school was trying to clear up outstanding debts.

The superintendent has appointed a committee to study the food-charging policy. The principal and nutrition director are on the committee.
