Businesses Make the Most of Raleigh's Role as Monet Host

RALEIGH, N.C. — Monet means France, and for Americans, France means food, wine and haute couture.

Triangle businesses, coordinated by the Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau, have surveyed the sales landscape and decided that Monet wasn't the only one to know a good thing when he saw it. French-flavored offerings abound, including meals, wine tastings and trips.

There is even a giveaway for a trip to Paris and Monet's home in Giverny.
