HARNETT COUNTY, N.C. — The search continues for two Harnett County children allegedly kidnapped by their father. Meanwhile, investigators have arrested the children's aunt.

Harnett County sheriff's detectives have arrested Alice Walker of Linden for giving false information on the kidnapping and aiding and abetting kidnapping.

Authorities said Walker allowed her brother, Henry Diggs, Jr., to take his children -- 4-year-old Antonio Diggs and 6-year-old Caramel Diggs -- from her residence on Thursday, April 29 -- a day before she reported the kidnapping.

Deltrice Frederick, the children's mother, was supposed to spend time with them on Friday. She said she has not seen her children in three years. She claimed that their father has kidnapped them before and also abused them.

Authorities said Diggs and both children were seen at a hotel and church in the Raleigh area on Saturday. They said the children did not appear to have been harmed.

Authorities believe Diggs and the children may be headed to New York.
