WAKE COUNTY, N.C. — Storms across the WRAL-TV viewing area Wednesday evening brought more than just thunder and rain.
Pea- to marble-size hail was reported in a number of areas, including Orange, Vance and Wake counties.
Roadways were completely covered in white near Raleigh-Durham International Airport, making it look like snow had accumulated.
