DURHAM, N.C. — Students at Duke University are on alert after a second reported sexual crime.
The latest incident happened Sunday morning in a central campus apartment. Police said a man walked into an unlocked apartment, fondled a woman, stole a camera and left.
Police will not release the name of the apartment complex.
Duke campus police do not think the assault is related to the reported rape of a 21-year-old student Friday.
The woman said she was sexually assaulted in a wooded area near West Campus as she walked home from a party. She said she did not get a good look at her attacker.
