Posted Updated

JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C. — Investigators said a Johnston County man used a siren and a blue light to pull people over. Officials said drivers pulled over when they saw the light, but the car with the light never stopped.

Jason Elwood Gilbert, 22, of Selma, was arrested Wednesday.

Officers found a strobe light system, siren and blue light in his vehicle. Gilbert was not in policeuniform.

Gilbert was arrested on charges of impersonating a law enforcement officer and having a blue light. He is being held in the Johnston County Jail under $5,500 bond.
