Halifax Teens To Serve Probation For Blasting Caps Incident

HALIFAX COUNTY, N.C. — Two teenagers will serve a year of probation for their part in a blasting cap incident.

The 14-year-olds recently pleaded guilty to numerous charges, including breaking and entering.

Investigators said at least two blasting caps were detonated on the playground at Hobgood Academy in January. No one was hurt.

James Braddy, 16, is accused of possessing weapons of mass destruction.
