Raleigh Puts Plans For 6 New Red-Light Cameras On Hold

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — Six new red-light cameras were supposed to be clicking Monday night in Raleigh. But that plan has been put on hold.

The city said its contractor has not finished work on the new cameras.

Once they are up, the six new cameras will bring Raleigh's total to eight. When the red-light camera program is finished, the city will be watching 20 intersections.
