Tyron Jaurel Arrington, 19, of 144 Country Club Drive, and Tony Wilkins, 37, of 520 Cascade Ave., are each charged with four counts of child abduction.
Arrington, who is in the Nash County Jail under a $100,000 bond, also faces four counts of statutory rape and two counts of taking indecent liberties with a child. Wilkins, in jail under a $50,000 bond, is also charged with one count of taking indecent liberties with a child.
Rocky Mount police Capt. Martin McCoy said that on at least four different occasions from Sept. 1 to Oct. 16, one or both of the men went to Rocky Mount Senior High School and signed one or both of the students -- ages 14 and 16 -- out of school.
Arrington and Wilkins, according to court records, each has a criminal history. Arrington was previously convicted of taking indecent liberties with a minor.
It is unclear who allowed the girls to leave campus, authorities said. Nash-Rocky Mount Public Schools officials said the school is working with authorities in their investigation and is also looking to see if any school procedures were violated.
