RALEIGH, N.C. — A four-star Marriott hotel could be coming to downtown Raleigh.
City Council staff recommended Thursday night supporting the hotel project submitted by Stormont-Noble Development.
The hotel is part of a proposal to build a new convention center in the downtown area.
The full City Council will vote on the recommendation Jan. 20.
