MOORE COUNTY, N.C. — A grand jury indicted three people accused of a violent attack in Moore County.

The suspects -- Mario Phillips, Sean Maurice Ray and Renee Yvette McLaughlin -- are charged with killing four people inside a mobile home a week before Christmas.

Authorities say 21-year-old Eddie Ryals, 19-year-old Joseph Allen Harden of Vass, 18-year-old Carl Garrison Justice of Carthage and 20-year-old Harvey Darrell Hobson of Carthage were shot and stabbed. Investigators say robbery was the motive.

Amanda Cook, 15, escaped the attack and she is recovering from her injuries.

Each suspect faces several charges, including four counts each of first-degree murder.
