Crabtree Valley Mall Wants To Get Bigger To Compete In Retail Market

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — Crabtree Valley Mall wants to expand to keep up with the competition.

Mall officials want to add on more than 73,000 square feet for new shops and restaurants. Crabtree Valley Mall was the Triangle's largest mall until The Streets at Southpoint and Triangle Town Center moved in.

Raleigh's planning department is expected to vote on the expansion this spring. If approved, the mall will also get a new parking deck.
