Police Identify Suspect In Armed Robbery, Chase

WAKE FOREST, N.C. — Police have identified a man they say

robbed a restaurant and led authorities on a high-speed chase.

Investigators believe Karim Swain, 25, robbed a McDonald's in Wake Forest just after 10 p.m. Sunday.

The chase ended when the suspect crashed on Sunnybrook Road near WakeMed and ran away.

The man has not been found. But a woman has been charged in connection to the case.

Swain's listed address is 2416 White Oak Circle in Clayton. Investigators do not believe he stays at that address very much and said he is known to be in the Raleigh area.

Swain, who is black, stands 5-foot-8, weighs 171 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes.
