No word on cause in Fayetteville plane crash; survivors recovering
Two people injured when a single-engine plane flipped while landing at the Fayetteville Regional Airport were continuing to recover Saturday, but the Federal Aviation Administration still has no answers as to what caused the crash.

Dr. Nitin Desai was listed in good condition at Cape Fear Valley Hospital Saturday. The condition of his wife, Rita Desai, was not available.
Tony Coleman, assistant airport director, said the Mooney-20 – a small, four-seat, fixed-wing plane with tail number N118RZ – rolled and came to rest in a grassy area along the taxiway and parallel to the main runway Friday afternoon.
The Desais' neighbor, Mike Uzzell, said he plays golf with Nitin Desai and was very surprised to hear what happened.
"They're great neighbors. They keep to themselves, (but) they're real supportive of their community," Uzzell said. "I know when they had the tsunami in India and Thailand, they had a fundraising event for them."
